Spent a bright & sunny Saturday morning brunch with my hubby (my idea of a perfect date) and this is what I wore!

For a brunch date, I always like to dress casual and comfortable, without looking like I just rolled out of bed and went out the door. Thank God for these Old Navy maternity leggings which are a million times more comfortable than my maternity jeans! Pairing a pair of leggings with a basic tee, long tunic length sweater, and a scarf is always a good way to go for a comfy-chic look.  However, let me emphasize the importance wearing a long top with leggings... Remember ladies, leggings are not to be worn as pants!! Enough said.

Actually, I've pretty much been wearing this whole outfit non-stop. The scarf is so festive and pretty for this time of year and this coat is one that I can actually manage to get zipped up over my belly, even though it's non-maternity.

A pair of heeled booties and my new Kate Spade bag (anniversary gift from my amazing hubby) and a red lip top off the look!
